Koan Plaza is a gently sloping lawn marked by an impressive 40-foot-tall sculpture, designed by the late John Portman, a renowned architect, designer, and Georgia Tech graduate. This green space is commonly used for tailgates, freedom of expression, small gatherings, and exhibits.

There are no fees associated with reserving outdoor event spaces. Please note that the spaces are provided 'as-is.' Any additional equipment or staging requirements may incur fees, which are determined by the respective department or vendor providing the services.
